Is there no preview or cache function when adding a new item?
I just lost a complete book & edition entry because I missed the “Summary” field. My mistake, because it already showed “Initial creation” and somehow I thought that would be taken over.
There is a Preview option on the individual Add Book and Add Edition forms, but not on the Add Book+Edition form. Some areas of the site still need refinement.
For what it’s worth I have changed my approach for submitting where I aim to create both the Book and the Edition:
I use the Add Edition option, and enter the appropriate title in the Book field. This creates a stub book record at the same time as the adding the edition (and preview is possible).
I then edit the book separately.

I have sometimes entered the title in the Book field, entered the title in the Edition field, and entered the title in the summary field, and then submitted. Both are entered as a stub simultaneously and can be separately edited. If you fill out the book and edition field and hit submit without remembering the Summary, you lose all your work; this avoids that.

Ok, I’ve updated the Book+Edition form so that there is a Preview option, and clicking Create without a summary will give you an error instead of losing the submission. Thanks for the feedback!
