These are the same profile. I searched for Malcolm Barter and the url returned was the second of those two. When used in an Edition, the url shows as the first.
The same happened to.

I was was submitting (https://ctlgs.org/c/books/edition/822421/the-forest-of-doom/) solely with a raw edit and after it was done, one Malcolm Barter credit showed the correct url (without a *) and one didn’t (with a *). The Iain McCaig credit showed with the wrong url and with a *.
I then tried to edit the Edition and re-select the wrong-url credits using the UI to see if it fixed them, and it seems to have done so for the Malcolm Barter credit, but not the Iain McCaig one.
I remember in the days of bookogs we used to re-use a profile if one had become redundant for whatever reason. Perhaps this is the cause of this odd quirk? Can anything be done about it? It doesn’t seem to affect the usability of the site so far, but it’s just a bit weird and confusing.
ps, can we turn off the forum’s insistence of auto-converting text enclosed in *s to italics? It’s really annoying.
