At the moment this displays the date of the publication, which makes it difficult to differentiate. Is it possible to display the latest date on the edition, which would usually be the last reprint (though it could also be “republished” or “this edition published”)? For example Erewhon · Samuel Butler - ctlgs has three editions all listed as 1935, when it would seem more sensible to have them as 1935, 1981, and 1985.
